Metric Consulting Now Offers Environmental Remediation Services
Metric Consulting, a certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), is excited to announce the expansion of its services to include Environmental Remediation.
The Environmental Remediation practice helps public agencies, airports, federal installations, and infrastructure owners assess, manage, and remediate contaminated sites.
Services include Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) assessment and treatment, petroleum and metals contamination remediation, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and federal program support, asbestos, lead, and mold assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Leading this effort is Oscar Martinez, PMP, Senior Project Manager and Program Chemist. Oscar joined Metric Consulting at the beginning of October with an extensive background in environmental programming, including PFAS chemistry support and multi-installation site inspection programs for the Department of Defense and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
“With over 30 years in the environmental consulting industry, my background focuses on environmental investigations, remediation, emerging contaminants, and site cleanup,” Oscar tells us. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to establish our Environmental Remediation practice and grow our capabilities in PFAS assessment and remediation, hazardous materials assessments, and environmental cleanup. We’re committed to supporting our clients by delivering practical and effective solutions to complex environmental challenges while protecting public health and the environment.”
The Metric Consulting team collaborates with Metric’s planners, engineers, and environmental scientists to address contamination across roadway, airport, and facility projects. Together, they serve state departments of transportation (DOTs), municipalities, airport authorities, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Department of Defense (DoD) installations, helping clients navigate environmental requirements while keeping infrastructure projects on schedule.
