Suzanne Settoon
Vice President of Disaster Recovery & Resiliency
Ms. Settoon has 18 years of experience in emergency management and disaster recovery with FEMA and the Small Business Administration. She worked as a FEMA CORE employee at FEMA’s Louisiana Recovery Office for eight years and served in multiple roles from Project Specialist to Public Assistance Group Supervisor. She worked on projects that involved multiple disasters that affected Louisiana, including Hurricane Katrina and the Louisiana Severe Storms and Great Floods in 2016. Since joining the private sector, she has continued to assist municipalities, school boards, and public entities to ensure they increase their FEMA PA eligibility, identify HMGP opportunities, and successfully navigate the bureaucracy of compliance. She worked as a Team Lead within the Branch of Individual Assistance, where she worked with state, local, and voluntary agencies to provide temporary housing solutions to disaster survivors. She joined another emergency management firm after the historic Louisiana flooding in August of 2016, and led a team of grant managers overseeing HUD CDBG-DR, FEMA PA, and FEMA HMGP programs.
