CDBG-DR Project Management:
Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance

Client: Louisiana Office of Community Development, Disaster Recovery Unit (OCD-DRU) 

Metric is currently assisting the State of Louisiana through the Office of Community Development, Disaster Recovery Unit (OCD-DRU) with administering the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance program, funded through HUD CDBG-DR funding, which was appropriated to assist homeowners in Louisiana recover from the Great Floods of 2016, the 2020 hurricanes, and Hurricane Ida. The $4.3 billion allocation of the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance program is used to aid over 91,000 affected households.

Metric acts as the State’s agent for continued development of policies and procedures that ensure the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance program is operated efficiently and in compliance with HUD regulations and the State Action Plan, as well as vendor oversight, including the audit of applicant files at construction and eligibility stages, to ensure compliance with established program policy and applicable HUD regulations.
